Package: Salary: £37'000 - £40'000, DOE

Hours of work: Mon–Thurs 08:00 – 16:30, Fri 08:00 – 14:30

Our client is seeking an experienced Fabrication Manager on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for driving team performance and implementing continuous improvement of a leading and skilled team.
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team of fabricators to company production targets
- Manage workflow and allocate labour effectively to meet production deadlines
- Monitor and maintain documentation, compliance, H&S regulations
- Collaborate with departments to resolve any issues
- Ensure all the company’s standards are maintained
- Maintain training records and support skills development within the team
- Manage team administration including holiday and disciplinary
- Staff development and training
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong verbal communication and leadership skills
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques
- Ability to work independently and to deadlines
- Monitor production and KPI’s
